Cannot Read nor Format 8gb Patriot Memory stick recently purchased

Hello,

For the past four days I have been trying everything I can find on google to format/get my brand new patriot usb drive to work. I used it once to transfer some files, then decided to format the drive and now it wont read on any computer I plug it into (I tried 4 different laptops). The drive is recognized in all computers, but immediately asks to be formated, but it always fails to format. I was wondering if there are any programs provided by Patriot to format this drive. My computer that I use runs on Windows 7 ultimate. If one of you guys could email me a potential solution I would really appreciate it
