Hey everyone. New here. I was serioulsy thinking about picking up a PBO very soon, but after some quick searches here, it looks as if shuffle/random video playback is not possible with the current firmware? Though it appears that there are some 3rd party firmware options or scripts that will allow it?

Video shuffle is really a must-have for me, and I seem to be having a hard time finding any media player that supports it (XBMC has it, and it is what I have been using for years and years now...)

Thanks in advance for any help.

I do have two "short" questions:

1)Does this firmware handle issues of the original FW while playing UPNP streaming content with playon --> Invalid file ??
2)if yes
a)I saw some comments about using the original remote control by mapping keys in the TeVii M500. Is that working fine?
b)When do I have to apply the mapping: before or after flashing?

Thx,

I am using the latest firmware, P020BC18-53, but there is one issue that I would like to solve.

Under the Misc. setup screen there is an option to turn seamless playback on or off.

I assumed that if it was set to off then video files will not automatically play one after the other, however, with mine, they play one after the other whether this option is checked on or off.

Anyone else see this issue or know of a fix?
I send it to service, they said that memory was broken and repaired it, so they send me it back. But it turns out that problem hasn't been solved it starts to blue screen on me again. I phoned them and they said they everything is alright becouse they checked it(they put the right timings and everything was alright, and it is my fault). After few blue screens timings reseted to default but computer is still broken.

I originall bought the PDC34G1600LLK DDR 1600MHZ 4GB for my 790i Ultra SLI. Couldnt get the memory to run at 1600 frequency with the specified configuration. but ultimately they seemed reliable for a few years. Then out of no where, with no changes of any kind, system started randomly crashing and BSOD when running certain applications such as Nero, or playing certain games. So i ran memtest and an epic fail. So i then buy another set of Patriot Memory because i believe in the brand so i move up to the Viper series PVS34G1600LLK DDR3 1600MHZ 4GB. Ran ok for the last few months and now i am crashing again with the specified default configurations no OC'ing of any kind. Ran memtest and again identified issues. Not sure if now i need to switch brands because i support the name its just frustrating.

Bios has been updated and, switched out mobo with another 790 board to check the mem slots for any defects. Pretty much stuck at this point.

Inferno users may have discovered (as I have) that these Sandforce SSDs have problems waking from S3 state (Suspend to RAM/Standby). There are threads on both the OCZ and Corsair forums regarding this:

http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/fo...firmware/page4

The trouble is, where as Corsair and OCZ seem to have an active community of developers and testers working on the problem, Patriot *appears* somewhat oblivious to the issue, as there is no support/downloads page for the Inferno (hopefully, not YET). I just hope that if Patriot do not have the resources to join in the debugging themselves, that we at least have an acknowledgement that when Sandforce makes the upcoming firmware upgrade available, that Patriot expediently releases it after any necessary testing.

I want to buy this little device. I want mainly download over BT (TV shows etc.) and then playing them to my media player.

I never found the information about BT download speed.

Can i get the speed like on my computer.

For example this torrent, i get speed about 700kb/s on my iMac.

Can somene one try to download this and tell me what speed do you get:

http://www.mininova.org/tor/3194731

I have 2Mbit connection and sometime i reach 1.5gb speed.
Can i also reach this speed with Memory Gearbox?

I'm asking this because i owned a NMT Player with BT Client but the speed was so slow (about 300kb/s max). The support told me that the chip simple to slow is for reaching so hight speed.

Thanks
